Peaches

The other day we went to Dwight and Brenda's to help with their peaches...

Yum! 

    The children had a jello party.. and the dog couldn't quite stay out of the picture. =P  (his tail in the lower right corner.)

                         Aleah continued to say cheese even after i was done taking pics.. =)

Family Week

Family Week was once again a great experience! =)

Lots of good times with friends..

        One of the last youth sessions we were all given balloons.... we each wrote on it something that we thought was in between us and our relationship with God, something that needed to be given up. Then we let the balloons go... it was amazing watching them disappear into the sky!

July 4th

On July 4th, some of us got together after dark and watched some

fireworks...

Cliff and Trina's new puppy, Chloe.

They tried to use Raphael's potato gun to send some sparklers up into the air. :) It didn't work out the best..

Quiz Retreat

So i am finally posting about quiz retreat..:) 

This winter was my second time quizzing and Raphael's first.

We memorized James and 1 & 2 Peter. I had a great time quizzing

again with the same team as last year. We were in AA division.

So here are some pics from the retreat.. starting with a time out. :)

                And then came Friday morning.. and the tense quizzing began. :) We had to get a 3rd to get knocked out. Our first quiz we got a second, and then we advanced to the quarter finals. If we got a first in this quiz we would skip the semi's and go straight to the finals. If we got a second we would go the semi finales. It was very nerve-wracking to say the least. Several times it looked like we were going to get a third and then things turned around and we ended up getting a first! Which sent us straight to the finals! It took us a bit for it to sink in.... we were shocked.....but very excited! :)
